Previously, I’ve covered both DNNs and voice assistants. Today, I look at a different use case for DNNs: generating source code from images. A tantalising proposition for sure, but it is ever so slightly hamstrung by the fact that DNNs do not understand what they are doing.
TechCrunch recently featured a graph of Amazon’s acquisitions, ordering them by price, noting that the Whole Foods acquisition was extremely large compared to other ones Amazon has performed. However, the Whole Foods purchase is on a whole different ballgame.
The Amazon acquisition of Whole Foods continues to make ripples, with the latest one being quite unexpected. Dean Bubley of Disruptive Wireless speculates Amazon may turn these locations into mini data centers. This is unlikely for an array of reasons.
